Storing Your Wood
Clearview Stoves have been designed with the environment in mind. We believe that wood is the perfect fuel. But to get the best from a wood burning stove, you must consider your fuel storage.

To obtain the best burning or calorific value from your wood, it needs to be split and stored in the open with top cover for one Spring and Summer. Correctly cut and seasoned fuel will produce at least twice the heat of poor fuel, increasing controllability and reducing fuel consumption.

We recommend that you purchase a year's supply of fuel at one time.

Clearview Stoves offer several wood storage solutions:

Log Frame
These are simple frames to put in a barn or shed, allowing you to stack your logs well, whilst creating the correct air flow that is essential for drying your fuel.

Log Stores
Perfect if you wish to store your logs outside. These stores have been designed to make an attractive additional feature to any garden. We also offer you the choice of single or double stores.


Log Shed
Our shed will hold two years supply for a one stove owner. This is a very efficient way to store fuel as it enables you to stay one year ahead and ensures a constant supply of well-seasoned timber. The shed requires approximately 4 metres x 4 metres of garden space.
